I’d like to hand my resume in
Hello everyone.
We’re glad to finally see you, but less glad that we met you this soon. This place is only meant to find people when it’s their time, but it appears something has happened. Maybe we’ll be gone soon. Maybe we’ll be here forever. Either way, we’ll answer any questions you have about the afterlife! Well, any questions that we can answer anyway.
Please, ask away! and don’t forget, drinks are free on Fridays! :)

if there's going to be a dark world arc that means that john is going to have to die
if john is dead, whatever killed him probably will kill arthur too.
if john is dead that means arthur will be alone again
if arthur is alone again that means he will have to make another choice
there was an established afterlife for arthur that was NOT the dark world. The Waylay bar is likely a purgatory of sorts. The waiter said "your drink will be here when you return" right before arthur is revived in Part 44, again alluding to arthur's next death.
I think Arthur will be presented with a choice in The Waylay. I think all of his sins will be laid out before him, as well as his virtues. I think we'll get a line like "there's a man of god somewhere down there praying real hard for ya." I think there will be a promise to see Faroe again. I think Arthur will be so relieved that he isn't in the Dark World.
And i think after the initial shock and temptation he will notice that John isn't with him. John, despite his progress, despite his sacrifice, has returned to the Dark World. I think he will beg and plead for john to join him, but will be denied. John's sins are too strong, he is not human enough, etc. Arthur will plead John's case again and the waiter will shrug, remind Arthur that he has a choice. He can go to the peaceful afterlife where he can see his daughter again, or he can go to the dark world and face his own personal hell.
And i think Arthur will chose hell. I think he will go back for his friend.

am i the only one who didn’t see the Waylay as a bar but more of as a hotel/ballroom type scenario?
idk why but i imagined it as like…. this big, nice place, with a buncha tables and the band playing music at the front and maybe some people dancing, dressed nicely, etc.
i guess i just figured since there was a waiter and not a bartender it was a nicer place but idk, it just didn’t give ‘bar’ vibes to me. i guess it would’ve been set a while ago tho so maybe I’m wrong and bars were just different back then? it would make sense for Arthur to end up at a bar tho, given his drinking habits.

Interview with a Vampire AU
Lily could feel the eyes watching her. It was normal, just keep your head down and walk on. Never let them catch you.
Footsteps following her, no need to panic. Just because you are on the edge of the red light district does not mean they assume you are a whore. Just keep walking and get out of here.
Speed went up a few notches as she hurried forward towards the respectable part of town and away from the slum she really lived. She dodges the hand that grabs at her and stumbles into the wall, and suddenly two men were in front of her. Great.
One of them grinned coldly, "Now, pretty lady. Are you going to let us have some of the pie or not?"
Then an accented voice spoke, "Mon chere Mademoiselle Du Point, how are you this fine evening?"
Seeing a tall, blonde man striding towards them and seeming to be addressing her Lily spoke, "I would be better if these ruffians would not waylay me." She had pulled herself up haughtily and could have sworn the foreigner, probably French, winked at her.
With the wave of his cane, "Shall I send them to route for you Mademoiselle?" The ruff men were moving back and forth, considering if they could take the well dressed. Did they think she was worth trying for?
One of them who smelled of smoke and beer snorted, "Keep 'er." And walked away with his companion.
When they were gone she gave her rescuer a proper curtsy, "Thank you for your help sir." Straightening, "But as you clearly have other plans for tonight I shall take my leave of you."
The mans eyes were laughing, "Mon Chere, please allow me to escort you." Seeing her bite her lip in consideration, "At least permit me to buy you some refreshment."
Studying him, "If only to make you lie believable Mr?"
With a laugh he bowed, "I am Lestat de Lioncourt." Then with a smile, "And you Mademoiselle?"
With a swallow to wet her throat again, "Lily Du Point."
Offering her his arm, "Is that truly your last name?"
Taking his arm with a smile, "Why deny the name you gave me sir?" His laugh rang down the street as they walked together into the night.
*******************
Lesat became a regular part of Lily's life, walking her home from the school in the red light district. She taught the children that such places were bound to produce, in the hopes that at least some of them could get a better life. One that she had not had in her seventeen years.
On the way home Lestat would always insist on eating at a resturant, even if the waiters eyed Lily's common dress with distaste. She did not blame them, everything here was for the upper class. One that Lily was clearly not a part of.
A few months into their friendship, Lestat changed things up and took her to a dress shop. There a young French woman took the order for clothes. To Lily's surprise the produced measuring tape was brought to her. Lestat only smiled, "You shall have the clothes that you deserve Mon Chere."
In those months he had been teaching her french, and she blushed slightly at this endearment. When the young lady was done the unlikely pair left the shop and walked by the river to a picnic that Lestat had arranged for her. They talked for hours under the stars, and listening to the crickets sing. Before Lily gave a jaw cracking yawn that made Lestat laugh and pronounce that it was time to take her home.
*************
After the new clothes were made, Lily would go to other fancy places with Lestat. Parties, the theatre, everywhere it seemed he would take her. There were whispers and she knew what they were about, the eccentric Frenchman had a new mistress and was shamelessly showing her off.
The only positive thing others would say about it was that at least the girl knew her place. Hardly speaking and staying on the edge so it was easy to ignore her intrusion into their midst. Only going anywhere near the center when the Frenchman took her there.
Lily knew all of this but did not try to deny that she did not belong, she didn't. But she was still going to enjoy the strange ride that Lesat had put her on until it ended. And maybe learn more to teach the children under her care of how to act around the higher classes.

He's looked at that ugly sculpture for a bit. He can't say he really understands the "artist's intent," but he's rather intently staring at the artist himself. Ezra's eyes are cold and dark as he takes in Khada Jhin: height, weight, clothes, demeanor, gait. There's a nasty feeling in the back of his head. He's trying to make sense of it.
inbox asks. / always accepting.
Tumblr media
    Hmph.
This idiot is making himself obvious.
No venue for art should ever be taken as a competition, but should you have asked Jhin, it’s impossible not to when your contemporaries are this atrocious. The pink chardonnay he’s holding is enough to mollify him for now, if nothing else. As for the idiot?
He doesn’t need to engage—because his wife does it for him.
“Ah, good evening,” Yuna greets, yellow kimono complete with red dahlias all along her long furisode sleeves. She’s smiling, though curious for all the staring. “I don’t believe we’ve met.” She exchanges a look with Jhin, who is himself nonplussed.
    Mostly.
“Interesting sculpture, I know,” she continues, trying to waylay into some kind of conversation. Jhin lets her—better her than him, after all. “My husband has an incredible eye for composition.”
The statue is all arms and no legs.
Sipping from his chardonnay, Jhin might have sighed. A hunter, perhaps?—No, he has to doubt that. Hunters prefer subterfuge, not formal gatherings, and especially not public staredowns with their so-called marks. Eventually he deigns to meet the idiot’s gaze, wondering if not for that then for what. Not a whiff of the Veil about him, though. That much is clear: this is no ‘mundie’.
“Good evening,” Jhin finally says, echoing his wife. “Are you a reporter? You do have the look of a critical eye about you.” He indicates him with his glass, before finishing it down. A doe-eyed waiter comes around and offers to pour him another, which Jhin responds by extending the glass without so much as a word.
    Nice taste.
“Jhin. Khada Jhin.” He waves them off. “Though I anticipate you read that from the plaque.”

hats and pastels and mint juleps, oh my ! as jockeys and spectators alike jostle for spots on derby day, our merry band of thieves slips into the mix unnoticed. their targets have only gotten bigger and bolder as their success mounts, and their confidence has soared as preparations are finalized. but a sinister reminder lurks in the back of their minds, lingering in the form of a note — they aren’t alone.
the saturday portion of the event on may 9th will commence at 2 PM EST. the sunday portion of the event on may 10th will commence at 6 PM EST.
below you’ll find the goals & individual team roles for the heist. these are simply preliminary roles — as i mentioned in the heist guide doc, nothing is set in stone, and your choices and rolls can affect the outcome ! as such, feel free to divert from these tasks, switch them around, modify them, or ignore them completely in favor of a different strategy.
IMPORTANT INFO.
all members have comms in their ears to be able to communicate with one another, though it’s considered best practice to go through the eye in the sky as they have the best vantage point and can work with the mastermind to communicate what to do next / relay information.
remember that the heist is taking place in louisville, kentucky, at churchill downs for the kentucky derby. the in-character start time for the event is may 9th, 2020 at 12 PM.
the dress code for churchill downs is track casual, so your character should be dressed accordingly if they are posing as a guest. if they’re infiltrating the mansion, however, their attire should be more formal. finally, if they’re in disguise as a staff member, they should blend in with the rest of the employees ( for example, this is what waiters in the mansion wear ). concierges, however, are expected to adhere to the same dress code as guests, albeit in a more subdued manner.
OOC reminders: remember, you don’t have to roll every time you have a turn ! dialogue / normal actions are perfectly fine and can help spur things along. also, if your next move doesn’t depend on anyone else’s response, you can write it up ahead of time while other members are taking their turn.
GOALS.
FIRST TARGET — part of a deal going down in an ultra-exclusive club called the mansion: a flawless 100-carat diamond that fetched $25 million at an auction in 2015. access ( either as a guest or staff member ) has been pre-authorized by eye in the sky.
the purchase is set to go down between an unidentified seller & buyers — all identities have been kept secret for the sake of the exchange. from what the team has sussed out, it’s highly possible that payment has already been arranged & this meeting / handoff is mostly a formality. however, it’s not completely certain. they do know that there is a code that the seller has arranged to ensure the validity of the deal, but there’s no electronic record of what the code is.
the crew must dispose of the buyers, figure out the code, and obtain the briefcase containing the diamond by any means necessary. it has a complex electronic lock system that eye in the sky can only take care of in person.
members assigned to this target: ace in the hole, getaway driver, inside man, mastermind, star of the show, watchdog.
SECOND TARGET — the team is targeting a chunk of the $30 million ( more or less ) that’s physically spent on betting every year at the track.
multi-pronged attack: eye in the sky will focus on digital bets while other members target cash bets. they must encourage high bets, collect the money, then ferry it outside of the mansion without arousing suspicion.
members assigned to this target: bleeding heart, career criminal, eye in the sky, hired gun, new kid on the block, second in command.
EXTRA INFO — this is more important for the second target, but these are the types of bets often placed at races such as the kentucky derby ( info was taken from a betting guide here ). be wary of guests with real stakes in the game, such as breeders or owners of thoroughbred farms. some may not know anything about their investments, but others may poke holes in your logic. they should be few and far between in such an exclusive area of the derby, but you never know who’s taken a special interest.
WIN — bet on the horse you think you will win the kentucky derby.
PLACE — get paid the place price if your horse finishes first or second.
SHOW — a show bet pays the least, but you win and get paid the show price if your horse finishes first, second or third.
EXACTA — predict the first two horses in the correct order.
TRIFECTA — predict the first three horses in the correct order.
SUPERFECTA — predict the first four horses in the correct order.
SUPER HIGH FIVE — predict the first five horses in the correct order.
KENTUCKY OAKS / DERBY DOUBLE — pick the winner of the $1 million kentucky oaks (for 3-year-old fillies) and the $3 million kentucky derby.
ROLES.
SATURDAY / SECOND TARGET.
BLEEDING HEART — pose as a reporter from town & country magazine, given exclusive access to the mansion as part of a story you’re writing on the modern derby. this will give you the freedom to talk to both guests and fellow team members without appearing suspicious. stick close to second in command if you can and help encourage higher bets, under the guise of analyzing the betting habits of the rich & famous. however, you’re free to check in on other teammates if they need assistance.
CAREER CRIMINAL — attend the event as a guest, preferably undercover, accompanied by new kid on the block. converse with other guests to drive up betting prices ( discuss your own bets, encourage more / higher bets ). work with bleeding heart & second in command to accomplish this as well as doing it on your own. #peerpressure
EYE IN THE SKY — disguise yourself as a high-level technician who has arrived to oversee electronic betting systems & make sure nothing goes awry during the races. when granted access to the back rooms of the mansion, work to redistribute electronic bets into an offshore bank account set up for this heist. communicate with the team via comms to make sure they’re getting by / update them about your progress.
HIRED GUN — go undercover as a bartender / waiter / staff member in order to gain access to the kitchen and back rooms of the mansion, accompanying eye in the sky so that they’re allowed through more easily with a staff escort. assist with collection of cash bets from second in command, or continue to assist eye in the sky if they need backup. stay alert on comms and dispatch of any threats that crop up, including guests or staff that ask too many questions.
NEW KID ON THE BLOCK — pose as a concierge for career criminal. guests can only access the mansion when accompanied by their concierge, so stick close. if necessary, function as a messenger between hired gun & second in command, especially in regards to physically carrying cash bets for an easy getaway once the heist is completed.
SECOND IN COMMAND — go undercover as one of the mansion’s betting advisors. accept as many cash bets as possible, and actively encourage them to promote a higher payout for the heist. work with bleeding heart & career criminal to gather higher & more complex bets, such as trifecta, superfecta, and super high five ( see definitions of bets above ). as a supposed expert, guests will trust your expertise.
SUNDAY / FIRST TARGET.
ACE IN THE HOLE — pose as a buyer for the diamond alongside star of the show. find the seller, and obtain the diamond either by convincing them that you’ve already paid or by alerting other teammates to create a distraction to allow it to be stolen from under their noses. preferably, the theft will occur seamlessly with the code discovered by fellow team members.
GETAWAY DRIVER — assist mastermind & watchdog with dispatching the true buyer(s) and finding out the code for the deal. communicate this information to inside man ASAP so they can inform other team members. stick around to mingle as a guest once this has been completed; if things go awry, cause a distraction to facilitate a last ditch opportunity for the theft to still take place.
INSIDE MAN — go undercover as a concierge for ace in the hole & star of the show. guests can only access the mansion when accompanied by their concierge, so stick close. keep a close eye out for getaway driver, mastermind, or watchdog so that they can communicate the code to you.
MASTERMIND — accompany getaway driver & watchdog to discover & waylay the true buyer(s) as well as find out the code for the deal. communicate this information to inside man ASAP so they can inform other team members. once this has been completed, mingle as a guest and check in on ace in the hole & star of the show if they need assistance with obtaining the diamond.
STAR OF THE SHOW — pose as a buyer for the diamond alongside ace in the hole. find the seller, convince them that one ( or both ) of you are part of the deal, and obtain the diamond by any means necessary. ideally, this will be done quietly with the code discovered by other team members.
WATCHDOG — work with getaway driver & mastermind to find & dispatch the true buyer(s) for the deal. use any means necessary, but do not get caught. any major disruptions will interrupt the deal. as soon as you find out the code, communicate it to inside man ASAP. stick around and mingle as a guest in case you’re needed for a distraction or escape.
again, if you have any questions about the information in this post or in the heist guide i sent out, feel free to dm me or ask in the heist-questions channel on the server !

In which Passepartout takes a too great interest in his master, and what comes of it
Hong Kong is an island which came into the possession of the English by the Treaty of Nankin, after the war of 1842; and the colonising genius of the English has created upon it an important city and an excellent port. The island is situated at the mouth of the Canton River, and is separated by about sixty miles from the Portuguese town of Macao, on the opposite coast. Hong Kong has beaten Macao in the struggle for the Chinese trade, and now the greater part of the transportation of Chinese goods finds its depot at the former place. Docks, hospitals, wharves, a Gothic cathedral, a government house, macadamised streets, give to Hong Kong the appearance of a town in Kent or Surrey transferred by some strange magic to the antipodes.
Passepartout wandered, with his hands in his pockets, towards the Victoria port, gazing as he went at the curious palanquins and other modes of conveyance, and the groups of Chinese, Japanese, and Europeans who passed to and fro in the streets. Hong Kong seemed to him not unlike Bombay, Calcutta, and Singapore, since, like them, it betrayed everywhere the evidence of English supremacy. At the Victoria port he found a confused mass of ships of all nations: English, French, American, and Dutch, men-of-war and trading vessels, Japanese and Chinese junks, sempas, tankas, and flower-boats, which formed so many floating parterres. Passepartout noticed in the crowd a number of the natives who seemed very old and were dressed in yellow. On going into a barber's to get shaved he learned that these ancient men were all at least eighty years old, at which age they are permitted to wear yellow, which is the Imperial colour. Passepartout, without exactly knowing why, thought this very funny.
On reaching the quay where they were to embark on the Carnatic, he was not astonished to find Fix walking up and down. The detective seemed very much disturbed and disappointed.
"This is bad," muttered Passepartout, "for the gentlemen of the Reform Club!" He accosted Fix with a merry smile, as if he had not perceived that gentleman's chagrin. The detective had, indeed, good reasons to inveigh against the bad luck which pursued him. The warrant had not come! It was certainly on the way, but as certainly it could not now reach Hong Kong for several days; and, this being the last English territory on Mr. Fogg's route, the robber would escape, unless he could manage to detain him.
"Well, Monsieur Fix," said Passepartout, "have you decided to go with us so far as America?"
"Yes," returned Fix, through his set teeth.
"Good!" exclaimed Passepartout, laughing heartily. "I knew you could not persuade yourself to separate from us. Come and engage your berth."
They entered the steamer office and secured cabins for four persons. The clerk, as he gave them the tickets, informed them that, the repairs on the Carnatic having been completed, the steamer would leave that very evening, and not next morning, as had been announced.
"That will suit my master all the better," said Passepartout. "I will go and let him know."
Fix now decided to make a bold move; he resolved to tell Passepartout all. It seemed to be the only possible means of keeping Phileas Fogg several days longer at Hong Kong. He accordingly invited his companion into a tavern which caught his eye on the quay. On entering, they found themselves in a large room handsomely decorated, at the end of which was a large camp-bed furnished with cushions. Several persons lay upon this bed in a deep sleep. At the small tables which were arranged about the room some thirty customers were drinking English beer, porter, gin, and brandy; smoking, the while, long red clay pipes stuffed with little balls of opium mingled with essence of rose. From time to time one of the smokers, overcome with the narcotic, would slip under the table, whereupon the waiters, taking him by the head and feet, carried and laid him upon the bed. The bed already supported twenty of these stupefied sots.
Fix and Passepartout saw that they were in a smoking-house haunted by those wretched, cadaverous, idiotic creatures to whom the English merchants sell every year the miserable drug called opium, to the amount of one million four hundred thousand pounds-- thousands devoted to one of the most despicable vices which afflict humanity! The Chinese government has in vain attempted to deal with the evil by stringent laws. It passed gradually from the rich, to whom it was at first exclusively reserved, to the lower classes, and then its ravages could not be arrested. Opium is smoked everywhere, at all times, by men and women, in the Celestial Empire; and, once accustomed to it, the victims cannot dispense with it, except by suffering horrible bodily contortions and agonies. A great smoker can smoke as many as eight pipes a day; but he dies in five years. It was in one of these dens that Fix and Passepartout, in search of a friendly glass, found themselves. Passepartout had no money, but willingly accepted Fix's invitation in the hope of returning the obligation at some future time.
They ordered two bottles of port, to which the Frenchman did ample justice, whilst Fix observed him with close attention. They chatted about the journey, and Passepartout was especially merry at the idea that Fix was going to continue it with them. When the bottles were empty, however, he rose to go and tell his master of the change in the time of the sailing of the Carnatic.
Fix caught him by the arm, and said, "Wait a moment."
"What for, Mr. Fix?"
"I want to have a serious talk with you."
"A serious talk!" cried Passepartout, drinking up the little wine that was left in the bottom of his glass. "Well, we'll talk about it to-morrow; I haven't time now."
"Stay! What I have to say concerns your master."
Passepartout, at this, looked attentively at his companion. Fix's face seemed to have a singular expression. He resumed his seat.
"What is it that you have to say?"
Fix placed his hand upon Passepartout's arm, and, lowering his voice, said, "You have guessed who I am?"
"Parbleu!" said Passepartout, smiling.
"Then I'm going to tell you everything--"
"Now that I know everything, my friend! Ah! that's very good. But go on, go on. First, though, let me tell you that those gentlemen have put themselves to a useless expense."
"Useless!" said Fix. "You speak confidently. It's clear that you don't know how large the sum is."
"Of course I do," returned Passepartout. "Twenty thousand pounds."
"Fifty-five thousand!" answered Fix, pressing his companion's hand.
"What!" cried the Frenchman. "Has Monsieur Fogg dared-- fifty-five thousand pounds! Well, there's all the more reason for not losing an instant," he continued, getting up hastily.
Fix pushed Passepartout back in his chair, and resumed: "Fifty-five thousand pounds; and if I succeed, I get two thousand pounds. If you'll help me, I'll let you have five hundred of them."
"Help you?" cried Passepartout, whose eyes were standing wide open.
"Yes; help me keep Mr. Fogg here for two or three days."
"Why, what are you saying? Those gentlemen are not satisfied with following my master and suspecting his honour, but they must try to put obstacles in his way! I blush for them!"
"What do you mean?"
"I mean that it is a piece of shameful trickery. They might as well waylay Mr. Fogg and put his money in their pockets!"
"That's just what we count on doing."
"It's a conspiracy, then," cried Passepartout, who became more and more excited as the liquor mounted in his head, for he drank without perceiving it. "A real conspiracy! And gentlemen, too. Bah!"
Fix began to be puzzled.
"Members of the Reform Club!" continued Passepartout. "You must know, Monsieur Fix, that my master is an honest man, and that, when he makes a wager, he tries to win it fairly!"
"But who do you think I am?" asked Fix, looking at him intently.
"Parbleu! An agent of the members of the Reform Club, sent out here to interrupt my master's journey. But, though I found you out some time ago, I've taken good care to say nothing about it to Mr. Fogg."
"He knows nothing, then?"
"Nothing," replied Passepartout, again emptying his glass.
The detective passed his hand across his forehead, hesitating before he spoke again. What should he do? Passepartout's mistake seemed sincere, but it made his design more difficult. It was evident that the servant was not the master's accomplice, as Fix had been inclined to suspect.
"Well," said the detective to himself, "as he is not an accomplice, he will help me."
He had no time to lose: Fogg must be detained at Hong Kong, so he resolved to make a clean breast of it.
"Listen to me," said Fix abruptly. "I am not, as you think, an agent of the members of the Reform Club--"
"Bah!" retorted Passepartout, with an air of raillery.
"I am a police detective, sent out here by the London office."
"You, a detective?"
"I will prove it. Here is my commission."
Passepartout was speechless with astonishment when Fix displayed this document, the genuineness of which could not be doubted.
"Mr. Fogg's wager," resumed Fix, "is only a pretext, of which you and the gentlemen of the Reform are dupes. He had a motive for securing your innocent complicity."
"But why?"
"Listen. On the 28th of last September a robbery of fifty-five thousand pounds was committed at the Bank of England by a person whose description was fortunately secured. Here is his description; it answers exactly to that of Mr. Phileas Fogg."
"What nonsense!" cried Passepartout, striking the table with his fist. "My master is the most honourable of men!"
"How can you tell? You know scarcely anything about him. You went into his service the day he came away; and he came away on a foolish pretext, without trunks, and carrying a large amount in banknotes. And yet you are bold enough to assert that he is an honest man!"
"Yes, yes," repeated the poor fellow, mechanically.
"Would you like to be arrested as his accomplice?"
Passepartout, overcome by what he had heard, held his head between his hands, and did not dare to look at the detective. Phileas Fogg, the saviour of Aouda, that brave and generous man, a robber! And yet how many presumptions there were against him! Passepartout essayed to reject the suspicions which forced themselves upon his mind; he did not wish to believe that his master was guilty.
"Well, what do you want of me?" said he, at last, with an effort.
"See here," replied Fix; "I have tracked Mr. Fogg to this place, but as yet I have failed to receive the warrant of arrest for which I sent to London. You must help me to keep him here in Hong Kong--"
"I! But I--"
"I will share with you the two thousand pounds reward offered by the Bank of England."
"Never!" replied Passepartout, who tried to rise, but fell back, exhausted in mind and body.
"Mr. Fix," he stammered, "even should what you say be true-- if my master is really the robber you are seeking for--which I deny-- I have been, am, in his service; I have seen his generosity and goodness; and I will never betray him--not for all the gold in the world. I come from a village where they don't eat that kind of bread!"
"You refuse?"
"I refuse."
"Consider that I've said nothing," said Fix; "and let us drink."
"Yes; let us drink!"
Passepartout felt himself yielding more and more to the effects of the liquor. Fix, seeing that he must, at all hazards, be separated from his master, wished to entirely overcome him. Some pipes full of opium lay upon the table. Fix slipped one into Passepartout's hand. He took it, put it between his lips, lit it, drew several puffs, and his head, becoming heavy under the influence of the narcotic, fell upon the table.
"At last!" said Fix, seeing Passepartout unconscious. "Mr. Fogg will not be informed of the Carnatic's departure; and, if he is, he will have to go without this cursed Frenchman!"
And, after paying his bill, Fix left the tavern.

Hello, Hi! Welcome to The Waylay. Pleasure to have you!
With drinks free on Fridays, The Waylay is heavily themed by the cosmos and has excellent customer service!
When your life has unfortunately come to a conclusion, you will be transported to the waylay.
Though it may not sound like the best fate, me and management have put in lots of effort to make it up to standard and to make sure it definitely is! (Including free entertainment.)
Think you’re not supposed to be here? Oh, you definitely are!
Got a request or problem? Feel free to contact me or management (@waylay-managment), and we will try our best to sort it out for you!
Did I mention drinks were free on Fridays?
no refunds. Stop asking.

Note
"No need to tell me your order, I already know it." Ok then, tell me what my order is. (I literally have something in mind and I'm wondering how close you can get to it. It's not blood and sand.)
As much as I would love to entertain you, my dear, I reside in the Waylay at all times. I cannot tell you when you are a dimensional plane away from me.
Please do not attempt to join the Waylay by your own hands.💗

Unfortunately, I cannot disclose whether humans, or any species for that matter, reside within the Waylay. Please stop asking us if Peter “Parker” Yang is with us.
